I’m Jess, a western Montana photographer with a background in commercial advertising photography. I live and breathe for beauty. Personally, I find it in the slow and in the quiet, but I firmly believe it can be found anywhere if you take the time to look. Portraiture gives me creative freedom, the kind of freedom that commercial photography often doesn’t allow. Here you will find the images that are free. Free from pressure to look perfect, the only objective is to capture your story (in a pretty way, of course).

My Approach
I love drama in photos, however, my actual approach to shooting images (like those you see here) is lighthearted and, I like to think, fun. We all house an immense spectrum of emotion, I want to draw it all out. I want to shoot you as you are, in your most authentic form. My photography is for the creatives, the artists, and those in love with life.
Love is love is love is love
Finding the truth in what and who we are is a life long struggle. There is value in commemorating that process. There is no perfect, there is no end. Preserving this version of yourself, your love, your family, right now is important.
